President Trump and Elon Musk are in a heated public feud. Musk accused Trump of being linked to Jeffrey Epstein and called for his impeachment. Trump responded by threatening to cut federal contracts with Musk's companies. Today President Trump said that Elon Musk has, “lost his mind.“

2. Karine Jean-Pierre Leaves Democrats, Launches Spicy Tell-All Book

Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced her departure from the Democratic Party, releasing a new book titled Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines. The book details her disillusionment following President Biden’s withdrawal from a second-term campaign.

3. NYC Mayoral Race Heats Up Ahead of Primary

The 2025 New York City mayoral election is heating up fast. Cuomo leads the Democrats. Adams jumped ship. AOC’s backing a challenger. And ranked-choice could swing it all.

4. RFK Jr. Threatens to Cut Federal Funding to Medical Schools Without Nutrition Courses

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said medical schools must include nutrition training or lose federal funds. He criticized the current system for over-relying on pharmaceuticals over preventive care.

5. Kilmar Abrego Garcia Returns to U.S. to Face Smuggling Charges

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, deported despite a judge’s order, is heading back to the U.S. to face smuggling charges. The DOJ says he will, “never walk freely in the U.S.” again.

6. Honoring the Heroes of D-Day, June 6, 1944

On June 6, 2025, the 81st anniversary of D-Day was marked in Normandy, France, honoring the pivotal WWII invasion. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who also turned 45, led a PT session on Omaha Beach and spoke at the American Cemetery.

7. Trump Orders Crackdown on Medicaid Overpayments

Earlier today President Trump signed a memo to stop states from inflating Medicaid reimbursements, citing $110 billion lost in 2024. The order aims to align payments more closely with Medicare rates.

8. Chinese Researchers Charged with Smuggling Crop-Killing Fungus

Two Chinese nationals are charged with trying to smuggle a destructive crop fungus into the U.S. Officials say the fungus could pose a major threat to agriculture and national security.

9. Trump Issues Travel Ban on 12 Countries

President Trump signed a new travel ban blocking entry from 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, and Somalia. The policy starts June 9 and also limits travel from seven others. Green card holders and current visa holders are exempt.

10. Man Arrested After Jumping Mar-a-Lago Wall Seeking to Marry Trump's Granddaughter, Kai

A 23-year-old man was arrested at Mar-a-Lago after scaling a wall and saying he wanted to marry Trump's teenage granddaughter, Kai Trump. It was his second attempt, and authorities are weighing federal charges.

Life is always about finding what you love, and in a sense, seeing what loves you back.

In this beautiful experiment of ATOMS, I learned just how much I love writing, curating, and making something that feels both useful and incredibly human.

But right now, even though I love ATOMS, it’s not the right time to keep pouring this much into it.

So I’m finally listening to you all! I’m hitting pause here, so I can be more committed to the videos, giving them my full energy + attention.
